Introduction

Hello, my name is Shannon Rose. I want to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about how I got here.

I was born at 2:30 am on January 31, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove Illinois. I weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces which I don't think is very big but my mom doesn't agree.

My mom's name is Suzanne but everybody calls her Sue except me of course. I don't know what I'm going to call her yet, but I've got a year or so to think about it. I think she's really pretty or at least the part I see sure is. She feeds me whenever I'm hungry.

My dad's name is Dave and he works at Good Samaritan Hospital so we have a really nice hospital room. Dad calls it a 'perk'. I don't care because I'm sleeping most of the time.

I've only been here a couple of days but I've met a lot of people. I have two grandpas and two grandmas. They came to see me the first day I was here. They are real nice and kind of warm when they hold me. Grandpa Dan promised he would take me fishing when I'm a little older. My other grandpa is helping me with this blog because my fingers are too small to type on the keys.

I'm going home tomorrow to see my house. I heard that there is a big surprise there too. I can't wait to see what it is.
